What is All Places membership?
All Places gives you Premium membership benefits at any of our 100 facilities across the UK.
This includes:
Gym use
Group exercise classes (may exclude some gym-based classes)
Pool use for Just Swim, lane swimming and fun sessions (excluding Family Fun sessions at Romsey Rapids Sports Complex)
Your Journey/Move programme – 3 free one-to-one sessions with a member of the fitness team
Places Locker app for online booking, tracking your moves, challenges, exercise programmes and more
14 days' advanced booking
Free use of SWIMTAG – wearable technology to track your swim performance and stroke
All your Places Locker data will be retained, so you take your workouts stats with you, and can book as normal at the gym or leisure centre of your choice. You can also book via the website as you would normally. Just take your membership card with you when you attend.
What happens after the All Places access expires?
Your All Places access will end on Wednesday 13th January. If you’d like to join one of our other gyms of centres, just speak to a member of the team at that site and they will be happy to set you up, without a joining fee.
I pay my monthly membership by Direct Debit, am I owed some money?
If you pay by Direct Debit for your membership, payments were automatically frozen before the government announcement to close gyms for lockdown. We are aware that as you pay in advance there may be days that that we owe you due to the lockdown period. This would have been a reduction on your first payment when we re-opened, but with the gym being closed this will now be paid back to you as a credit to your account, a pro rata value based on the days you were unable to use. This will reach you within seven working days.
There is no need to cancel your membership at Places Gym Chesterfield as we will do that for you after your free All Places access comes to an end in January.
I have pre-paid for an annual membership, what happens?
If you have paid up-front for an annual or fixed term membership, you are entitled to a pro rata refund for any days that you haven’t used. We do not hold bank details for you, so please email your membership details to
membershipadmin@pfpleisure.org and the team will arrange a refund for you. Once received please allow seven working days for the refund to reach you.
If you choose to transfer your membership to another of our gyms or centres before your refund is processed, we will offset any remaining credit against your new membership.
I’ve paid for pre-booked activities, what happens?
If you pre-booked an activity online in anticipation of re-opening, we will automatically refund the value of these sessions to you.
I’ve pre-paid for personal training, what happens?
If you have an outstanding personal training session please contact your PT directly for a refund.
