Who are we?

We're Places Gym and we're made to move you. Our gyms provide the equipment, advice and motivation you need to reach your goals.

We have gyms currently open in Chesterfield, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Hinckley and Preston. We offer no contract memberships, state-of-the-art equipment and the best Personal Trainers, who'll help you become your best.

    We've been working hard to make sure you can stay safe and strong at our gyms. Some of the changes we've made include:

  • Operating all activities (gym and classes) in sessions. Sessions are pre-booked in advance either on our website or via the Places Locker app, and helps us control the number of people on site.
  • Factoring in 30 minutes between all sessions so you can exit safely and our teams can thoroughly clean the facilities.
  • Providing sanitising spray and wipes around the gym for use on the equipment and lockers.
  • Encouraging our members to use their membership QR code on arrival, which is part of Places Locker.
  • Ensuring changing rooms are open and equipped with sanitising wipes for lockers.

    • We're constantly reviewing our safety measures, in line with Government guidelines and customer feedback.
