I have been involved in teaching and coaching sport and exercise since 1987, when I became a full-time PE Instructor.

I first registered as a Personal Trainer in 1994 and over the years I have learned that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to fitness.

One person will see great results from a certain program but it may not be the best for you!

I have been a Weight Lifting Instructor for over 30 years and now pride myself on having a sound knowledge of all aspects of strength training.

I am also a Level 4 PT qualified in Lower Back Pain Treatment and Management.

My advice for beginners - sometimes coming in to a new gym is daunting. If you feel unsure of what to do then always talk to a member of staff, we are here to help and support you!

My favourite exercise is the Clean & Press/Clean and Jerk. An exercise to test your strength, speed and coordination. Learn the safe way to get a weight off of the floor and above your head.

I enjoy teaching all forms of Circuits & High Intensity classes but without a doubt my favourite class is Kettlebells. They are a great way to improve muscular strength, coordination and endurance.
